With warm soft paintings Renoir created beautiful art that can be used to decorate a child’s room.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir began his art career as a designer for China, and in many ways one can see this background in his soft almost dream like pictures. A master of the Impressionist movement of art Renoir created incredibly rich paintings such as Duex Soeurs. A soft painting of two girls in bright hats put together with the powerful and yet somehow still wispy strokes that make Renoirs work so evocative, Duex Soeurs is a wonderful close up of characters showing Renoirs mastery of light. Such a picture as nursery wall art will certainly make your babies room seem warm and inviting both for you and for children. This painting would also work will with a number of rooms for older children as will for its beauty is something which humans will naturally be drawn too. Those children who love to paint could also gain great benefit from studying this picture for its bold strokes show how to build together a great masterpiece.

Two girls reading is in a similar vain too the masterpiece that is Duex Soeurs, a simple and still picture of everyday life as two girls in fairly plain dresses made beautiful by how they are painted. This painting is created from the series of colors that make a near grey near earth tone that still manage to have their own shimmering brightness. Such beauty mixed with the theme of this picture makes it a perfect piece of wall art for any girl’s room. Another picture much like this one though with a more airy feel as the frame pulls back away from the characters “Two Girls at the Piano” is better for giving a room a lighter feel should that be the goal of the wall art choice you make. In either case all three of these works are beautifully done closer and more detailed studies of the Human face, which is what Renoir truly excelled at.

Renoir was not limited to such close ups of figures however and so one should also examine closely his stunning floral paintings. It is perhaps an attempt on his part to escape the flatness of fine china florals that caused him to make his floral paintings catch the light so much. “Grande Vaso Di Fiori” is one such floral painting that pushes the world of lighting. A simple blue vase sitting on a grey wall with a grey backdrop which contrast greatly with the highly saturated and beautiful florals of the foreground. A beautiful and wispy painting with an inner glow all its own this and Renoirs other floral paintings will add more then a splash of color to a child’s room they will help light it up.

Though all these paintings mentioned so far work will as strongly saturated outlays, Renoir was a true master of all kinds of light, as demonstrated by his painting “Girl with a Basket of Fish.” This painting illustrates Renoir’s ability to make the simple and plain moments of life beautiful even while using a very earthy color palette. This painting also demonstrates the importance of considering earth tones in ones design theme even for a the room of a child.
