Mary Blair In the background of many of the great Dinsey films, from Cinderella to Peter Pan, there was Mary Blair, directing with her warm illustrations the look and feel of the film. Mary Blair is one of the most brillient artists of all time someone who's work the animators at Dinsey always wished they could put directly into animations. Sadly her art did not lend itself well to this medium, its simplicity of form, helped to make it one of the most effective communicators of emotion, and color.
