| Its interesting that often times we choose not to have people
as the
primary subject in nursery art, yet people are who we want children to
relate to. Yet animals hold a strange facination for all of us, in part
perhaps this facisnation exists for babies because they do not see
these as often. Every child gets excited to see an animal, and at their
first encounters with puppies.
So indeed your baby will appriceate any art you place in their nursery,
it is importnat that you provide them with a veriety of works. This
includes both having people as subjects and switching in art from some
of the great masters, from Degas for example. Doing so can keep the
interest in the childs nursery and give them an oppertunity to explore
